Klarna Payment Option
PLEASE NOTE - Update from Klarna (Feb 2024) regarding new Klarna Payment Checkout Process.
Why does it look different when I shop with Klarna?
-
Klarna has introduced a new and improved purchase flow that makes shopping with Klarna a consistent experience wherever you choose to pay. The flow is also more secure by introducing a new login process.
-
We’re also aiming to make your purchase experience as consistent as possible in terms of payment methods. Therefore you might see some new payment methods available in the check-out, in order for you to choose how to pay regardless of where you shop.
Why do I need to login to a Klarna account?
-
You will need to sign up for a Klarna account once – to verify and set up your account. You can also save your preferences and favourite payment method for any future purchases.
Will you remember me next time?
-
Klarna will remember you on your device. This will make your purchase experience shorter and easier for future purchases. You can always choose to opt out from being remembered by updating your settings in the Klarna app.
How do I choose how to pay?
-
After you choose Klarna and authenticate with your account, you’ll see a screen where you can choose if you want to pay today, later or if you’d like to finance your purchase. Note that the payment methods can vary depending on the merchant.
-
If you’ve saved a payment method as your favourite earlier, you’ll be presented with this one in your next purchase. Regardless if you have a favourite payment method or not – you can always choose to change the payment method in the flow. Please note that this feature will not be available in Finland due to the consumer credit legislation.

Earthly Creations - Clear In 3
The Earthly Creations Payment Plan
For larger single items over £200 we offer a payment plan scheme to help you spread the cost. Please note that the payment plan offer does not extend to a total order value of more than £200 made up of lower value items but is only offered on higher priced single items greater than or equal to £200. Also note that no interest is charged with regard to this payment offering.
Clear In 3 works by dividing the cost of the item (plus postage and insurance where required) by three and making the first of the three payments as a non refundable deposit with the first invoice we send you on the night of the live.
The remaining two payments must be made over the following next two months (or sooner if you wish) and again against the invoice we send.
The invoice will show the due dates for the remaining 2 payments.
We are of course happy for you to pay more on the first invoice but the total must be paid by the listed due date on the invoice.
The product will only be shipped once all payments have been made.
Key Notes
-
You are entering in to a contractual agreement to pay the full agreed amount and we assume that you will honour your commitment to make the other payments.
-
This is not a credit agreement but rather a promise to pay the full amount over a given time period.
-
If for any reason you decide that you cannot make the full payment you must contact us as soon as possible.
-
If we agree that you will not make the total payment and or in fact do not want the item any longer, we will of course cancel the invoice and repay any monies paid less the non refundable deposit amount.
-
If you do not believe you can make the full payment over the period or are not happy to loose the non refundable deposit payment or if you cant afford the full amount please do not enter into a payment plan with us.
-
NOTE - This is not the PayPal pay in three scheme as that is a direct PayPal offer linked to your PayPal account and where PayPal is offering you credit over three months.
Clear In 3 - Worked Example
Item plus postage totals £350 and the invoice date is 20th of Oct.
-
Invoice raised for £350 on the 20th of Oct.
-
Minimum non refundable deposit to be paid is £350/3 = £116.66 and must be paid within 12 hours of invoice receipt unless otherwise agreed with us (i.e. the £116.66 must be paid by the 21st of Oct.
-
Again you can pay more on the first invoice but you must pay the min contracted deposit as listed on the invoice. Please advise if you want to pay more so we can adjust the invoice.
-
-
The following month another payment must be made for £116.66 (or more as wanted).
-
In this example this would on the 21st of November.
-
-
In month three the balance of the total invoice (£116.66 in this example) must be paid.
-
This would be due on the 21st of December.
-
-
Once the total item value has been paid the item will be dispatched.
-
The minimum agreed and contracted amount is the value of the first payment so in this example we would keep £116.66 if the order were cancelled before all payments were made.
Please contact us if you would like to discuss Clear In 3 in more detail.
Open Baskets - Workings and Terms and Conditions
-
Once you have paid your first invoice in full (we do this just to make sure that you are both real and can pay as we have been let down in the past) you will be able to take advantage of our open basket system.
-
We can hold your basket and invoice open for up to 4 weeks from invoice date for a non-refundable minimum £20 deposit per £100 of basket value.
-
Therefore, if you add to your basket over the open 4 week period, we will ask you for extra deposits to cover the increasing invoice value based on £20 deposit for each £100 basket value.
-
Failure to pay in extra deposits will result in your invoice being capped at that point and fi no extra payments are made we will cancel the invoice, return all items back to the shop and keep all deposit monies paid thus far.
-
-
We also reserve the right to cap an open basket value if we feel this is in the best interest of both you and us.
-
If we cap your basket value we will discuss this with you and advise of the limit.
-
If you wish to continue claiming for items that take you above your cap value then the first open basket invoice must be paid in full first and we will then create a new open basket invoice.
-
-
Please note that all deposits paid are none refundable.
-
If you request any items to be removed then a £20 put back charge will be added to your invoice (see below). This charge is based on the put back request and is not per item.
- Worked Example
-
We review and agree and will then edit the invoice to allow the open basket minimum part payment of £20 and update the invoice due date to the agreed date or a date 30 days from the invoice date.
-
Note that the £20 will count towards your total invoice payment but if the invoice is not paid the deposit will be kept.
-
Postage will be added at the current rate.
-
If however your invoice or the size, weight or value of the parcel to be sent means a higher value postage / insurance would be due, we will adjust the invoice accordingly.
-
-
-
You then pay the £20 open basket min deposit charge within 12 hours and we will hold the basket open for you until you pay (within the 30 day period).
-
You can continue to add items to your basket over the 4 week open basket period and you will receive invoice updates as we add any new claims you make.
-
If you basket value starts to increase, for every £100 basket value we require an extra £20 deposit charge to be paid which is non-refundable. We will look to advise you of this on each invoice update where this happens but it is your responsibility to make sure that the extra deposits are paid.
-
If you do not pay within the agreed invoice due date and or do not make contact reference payment, after the due date and if the invoice has not been paid in full then the items will be returned to the stock and your invoice cancelled and all deposit money kept.
-
Note that if any items are put back during the course of the open basket invoice period, we reserve the right to cancel the original deposit (£20) already paid and request that deposit value again to cover admin costs and to encourage people to only claim what they can afford.
-
In essence your invoice will have a £20 "put-back" charge added to it. We will of course review this on a case by case basis as we know sometimes events happen beyond your control.
-
-
Also note that if you cancel an open basket we also reserve the right to say that your next invoice has to be paid in full and then once paid you can go back to using the open basket offering.
-
We do this to make sure that people do not just claim items for an open basket, cancel it (losing the deposit) and then just requesting a new open basket.
-
