Selenite is a hydrous calcium sulphate.
Selenite is said to be a calming stone that instils deep peace and is excellent for meditation or spiritual work. It assists judgement and insight. It clears confusion and aids in seeing the deeper picture. Selenite aligns the spinal column and promotes flexibility.
Selenite is soft and can easily be scratched with a fingernail. In some very rare instances water becomes encased in a cavity as the crystal forms.
A selenite natural carved tower lamp standing at approx 30cm tall, comes with bulb, fittings and a UK plug.
The tower gives off a soothing and warming glow once lit. (10cm width at base).
